Belinda is Timaru born and bred, attended Sacred Heart Primary and Roncalli College then left the region in 1991 to join the RNZN as a Radio Operator where she served for five years. Leaving the military life in 1996 she joined Sovereign Assurance then moved to a subsidiary company (AEGIS) in 1999.
The south island was beckoning again so a move to Christchurch to be closer to family saw her employed in a role in Lending Support at Westpac Banking prior to having children.
Matthew and Abby were born in Christchurch and spent their early years in homes that are now red zoned due to the earthquakes. Belinda and her family moved to Timaru in 2008. Whilst taking care of her family she brought, developed and sold five properties’ (three in Christchurch and two in Timaru) then moved in to real estate for four years.
With a varied background of military, insurance and investment, banking and real estate she looking forward to bringing a variety of skills to the role at Sorted for Life supporting, Ross, Haylee and Kathy.
Outside of work she enjoys being active, cheering on the Crusaders, renovating houses and has inherited a green thumb from her parents. Most of all, spending time with her partner and their children, socialising with friends and family is what she enjoys the most.
Life is short, work hard – play hard is her motto.
